It is with great sadness that following recent events surrounding the Bramley Buffaloes Rugby League Club that the Team at Phoenix Evolution Consulting have decided to cease their association with, and Sponsorship of, the same as of July 2021. This decision was not taken lightly and there was much consideration of the available facts before a decision was made.
The most serious issue is that there have been a number of incidents involving Players and Fans wearing Club Merchandise, which features the Phoenix Evolution logo on the Shoulder, in the area surrounding the Club and the Authorities have been called by Business Owners.
Secondly there has been significant abuse of a Sponsor of the Club on Match-Days at the Warrels, the Sponsor in question is an Irish Gent who has suffered not only racial slurs but also has been called derogatory terms that have severely impacted his mental health. Worse still is the fact that members of the Club have continued this behavior when passing through the Sponsor’s place of Work. When considered these behaviors are considered alongside the conduct of a member of the Coaching Staff to the Director of Phoenix Evolution Consulting on a Match-Day it becomes obvious that this is in no way acceptable and as such has led to our termination of our Sponsorship. Sadly the Club have also left Bramley Phoenix ARUFC’s Ground; the Warrels in Bramley.
Despite the difficult decision to terminate the Sponsorship of the Buffaloes the Team at Phoenix Evolution Consulting wish the Chairman and the Club the best of luck in locating a new venue for the Club and hope that Bramley can rise like the Phoenix in our brand.
